The leadership team

Terri Jordan - Terri, the founder of BuzzBecause is a second generation Master Barber with a career that has spanned more than 30 years. She specializes working with men dealing with hair loss. "Cutting hair is a creative outlet for me. Helping people look and feel their best truly inspires me. I want clients to walk in feeling at ease and comfortable, but most importantly walk out with confidence." She brings this same compassion for people dealing with medical hair loss and felt the need to design the BuzzBecause program. She has gathered a group of advisors and board members that support her mission with a goal to provide services nationally.

Terri has an entrepreneurial spirit and has been a member of the business community all her life. She has worked in consumer products as a National Sales Manager and in both the real estate and mortgage industries, chaired many fundraising events as well as social events. Terri was a co-founder of Petnique, a manufacturing company which produces the cinch-it® dog collar. Terri lives and works in Bellevue, Washington.

Paul Deanno - Paul is an Emmy Award winning meteorologist for KOMO4 News, the ABC affiliate for Seattle and Western Washington.

Paul has always believed in giving back to the local community, and remains involved by visiting hundreds of school to and teach children about science and weather. Over the years, he has volunteered for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and VH1's "Save the Music" Program. Paul freely admits that he "married up", to his wife of 11 years, Suzanne. They have two very active boys.

It wasn't until his father was diagnosed with a tumor on his spine at age 63 that Paul felt he was truly touched by cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer spread quickly, and Paul's dad lost his life in less than three months. Paul learned first-hand how quickly cancer can change someone's life and is looking forward to giving his time to support people and families who are battling cancer.

Doug Woodward - Doug is a cancer survivor. He battled and beat rhabsomyosarcoma when he was 15, losing his left leg to help achieve a cure. Forty-two years later, he still retains a keen sensitivity to the challenges of facing a life threatening illness.

Doug has over 35 years experience in the business world, serving as an executive for Microsoft, Oracle, Honeywell Bull, and as a Partner at Ernst & Young. In 2000, he founded his own consulting company Smart Starters, where he has worked with over four dozen companies in and around the Pacific Northwest.

Doug is from Oklahoma where he graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1976, Cum Laude, with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Letters. Doug has served as the associate minister in the Methodist and Reformed Church. He has been married to his wife Donna for 36 years and has two grown children who live in the Seattle area.
