When washing your hair, make sure and wet hair thoroughly. Hair should be thoroughly wet before adding shampoo. Warm water will open the cuticle, which will help remove any dirt or build-up trapped in the hair.

After washing, add conditioner, and then rinse it out with cool water which helps close the hair cuticle. Your hair will look great and stay healthy!

Goose bumps are created when tiny muscles at the base of each hair, known as ARRECTOR PILI MUSCLE, contract and pull the hair erect. The reflex is started by the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for many fight-or-flight responses.

I always make a joke when I get goosebumps and say " My arrector pili muscles are contracting!"
